NX first class support for Sveltekit

The one thing that keeps me in the React ecosystem is the first class support it has in an NX monorepo.

To be able to effortlessly setup multiple apps and libraries, scaffold components with their tests and stories for storybook etc...

Once Svelte 5 is out, It would be amazing if you could collaborate with the team at Nrwl to provide first class support for scaffolding sveltekit apps within an NX workspace, with generators to create routes, libs, e2e, stories, page.server.js etc

Basically to replicate what they have for React but for Sveltekit

Could such a thing be considered by the Svelte team?

We picked https://vercel.com/templates/svelte/turborepo-sveltekit-starter since that seems to be the only viable alternative but its definitely much more minimalistic than NX and leaves a lot to figure out yourself.

I agree first class support for NX would be great!

I'd be interested in this too. The @nxext/sveltekit NX plugin (more infos here and here) is in an alpha state and seems to be dormant for a while now. It'd be great to have a first class NX SvelteKit plugin.

I would appreciate this as well. Setting up typecheck command with SvelteKit project is especially frustrating. I haven't managed to do that and I would be glad if someone could guide me on how to set it up correctly.

I followed Nx TypeScript setup best practices on the backend and haven't encountered any problem. Trying to implement this on SvelteKit would be that SvelteKit's tsconfig.json should extend base tsconfig.base.json and SvelteKit's tsconfig.app.json should extend SvelteKit's tsconfig.json.

However, there are a few problems with this:

• There is a need to extend ./.svelte-kit/tsconfig.json in order to have access to custom paths
• The ./.svelte-kit/tsconfig.json disables emitting which is crucial for Nx typechecking
• SvelteKit uses specific command for typechecking: svelte-kit sync && svelte-check --tsconfig ./tsconfig.json

I would like to set it up all correctly that Nx 🤝 SvelteKit 🤝 TypeScript. That means using Nx's monorepo-wide command execution (preferably without typecheck command defined in package.json as for the backend I use inherited one from Nx itself) and caching, while not sacrificing IntelliSense or some important svelte-check features.
