Sidebar captions does not update timely

Expected behavior

Based on your demo project, I modified :caption: reStructuredText to :caption: reStructuredText2 and :caption: MyST to :caption: MyST345, even I added a new caption and corresponding .rst files. I expected to see corresponding changes in the sidebar captions in the preview window. I expected that at the end of the page of "MyST Demo/Symbols", there would be a "next" navigation pointing to the new caption page I added.

Actual behavior

None of the above changes were reflected in the preview. "MyST Demo/Symbols" page did not give a "next" navigation pointing to the new caption page. Instead, the new caption page gave a "Previous" navigation pointing to the "MyST Demo/Symbols" page. Finally I closed VS Code, deleted the folder _build/dirhtml, re-opened VS Code, triggered the extension to rebuild and the changes at length were reflected.

It sounds like this is another symptom of #705... I think I've figured out the root cause (Sphinx caches the toctree) but I haven't got around to implementing a fix yet.
