Net8 will be released soon. This project is still based on .net 3.1. Can it be upgraded to net7?

We have planned to upgrade the project to latest dotnet version for our 2023 Vol 4 SP release which is expected to roll out by end of Jan 2024.

It is updated to .NET 8.0 which is expected to roll out by March 2024 release.
