JOSM is a bit overwhelming

Looking at projects using a particular tag, there's a long list with JOSM.

Is it really useful ?

Oh dear. OsmAnd should also be populating that particular list, as it can render multiple osmc:symbol combinations, probably dwarfing JOSM's entries.

It is useful if you want to look at how individual tag values are used. This seems like an issue with the overwhelming visual presentation in Taginfo, rather than an issue with the project JSONs. There should probably be a view where all entries from a single project collapse to a single row.

The project JSON is a very simplistic way of declaring what tags a project uses and it is interpreted in different ways by different projects. Some only show a few keys, some have more details. JOSM chose to put all presets into a single project JSON with 172,476 entries! That's not very usable. I contacted them over a year ago, asked them to split this up, but nothing came out of it.

If somebody has an idea how to present this information in taginfo in a better way, tell me. But I think the underlying problem also needs to be fixed.
