Kitty's display is delayed.

Hi everyone.

I've already typed ls -lh, but it only displays an 'l'. I probably need to type a space to get ls -lh to appear.

Alacritty has the same problem, mainly after using the Freedreno driver.

VTE-based terminal emulators seem to work fine.

What should I do about this?

Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce this while using Kitty either with software rendering, or with Zink+Turnip, in IceWM in Termux:X11 on Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960U,

• Have you tried a different window manager to see if that makes any difference? I understand you want Awesome, but I mean just to check whether it is a problem with Awesome, or with something else
• Are you using Termux:X11, or a different display server like VNC? Is your Termux:X11 fully up to date?
• could you show the output of this command: glxinfo -B? (from pkg install mesa-demos)

I only use Termux-X11, and it is indeed the latest version.
I just tried using Kitty alone without any window manager. The situation did improve slightly, but the issue persists. Of course, without a window manager, Kitty's default window is also quite small.
