I attempted to squash our patches and build here: https://github.com/tessel/openwrt/commits/2018-05-04 but it's not working and I'm not sure why. I may have time to come back to this, but I figured I'd file this and see if anyone else can help.

It looks like this includes patches against the 3.18 kernel, while LEDE is using 4.4. Take a look at my previous attempt at rebasing on LEDE, which might be a better starting point: https://github.com/tessel/openwrt/commits/lede-17.01_2017-05-12. It built, but had issues with wireless performance.
