What does this repo do exactly?

Hi, we are looking to "Checkout out the toolchain for locally compiling t2-firmware". What does this repo do? If a clearer idea can be presented, it would be great help :)

This is for compiling native modules. I notice it's described in the subtitle of the repo, but could stand to be more explicit at the top of the Readme!
