Capitalize "remote execution" or not? #3140
Comments
I have no strong opinion but I like the approach of discussing, standardizing, and enforcing a common way. I can help best in phase two and three. |
@apinnick Should we decapitalize this term as well? :) |
Since remote execution is referred to as ReX by a lot of users, decapitalising it makes it look neater IMO. |
My preferences are "remote execution" and "REX". There is no rule that says we only capitalize the first letters in acronyms. I think "ReX" looks too 'fussy' and would be difficult to enforce. Users already use "REX". |
I agree with @apinnick. |

So I'd embrace the commonly used "REX". And it always makes me think of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_Rex so I have this image of a German Shepherd. If we ever needed a logo ... |
Thanks, everyone. When I'm back from my vacation, I'll fix it. |
Should we capitalize "remote execution" or not?
