Removing with reason doesn't work in Orion.

So, as a die hard fan of Safari, I'm very happy that Orion Browser exists, as it's basically Safari with support for both Firefox and Chrome extensions.

So, I've installed Toolbox (tried both Fx and Chrome versions) and almost everything works - almost, because I can't remove a submission with providing the reason.

The error is: error, failed to post reply as ModTeam account, always. One user from reddit claims it also happens on Edge. I've also tried firefox and it works as intended, so configuration on the sub which I moderate is working.

If it's related, in the add-on's console I see this error each time when I refresh Reddit:

Any ideas if it can be fixed? Or it's just because it's still a bit of Safari and it simply won't work?

Sorry, I meant to reply to the thread about this on Reddit but I've been busy as usual...

Are you logged into https://mod.reddit.com? Can you try logging out and back in there if so? Toolbox uses the authorization token from your new modmail session to execute OAuth API requests, and sometimes logging out and back in to obtain a new token can fix issues with Toolbox.

If that doesn't fix the issue - does the issue also occur if you disable the "Send as /u/subreddit-ModTeam" option for your subreddit and try again? Knowing that would help me identify which code path is causing the issue.

Not quite, but probably close enough. There is probably a reason why on the support page for extensions the Troubleshooting Web Extensions Issues section effectively says to give up if an extension doesn't work.
The section under there also highlights this

Orion currently supports about 70% of the WebExtensions APIs, and we add support for more all the time.

This also means that for things that technically are supported there will be things that don't quite work as on other browsers using chrom.

I was. Reloading didn't change anything.

The problem is: I can't test that. The values are set by my subreddit (by someone else) and as a new user of Toolbox I simply don't know how to override it. Everything under the footer is greyed out.

But maybe it's like @creesch said - that Orion simply doesn't support the extension well enough. When testing, I've also found the extension sometimes doesn't show/isn't loaded at all and I can't ban the user from the M menu (I didn't wrote down the error message, sorry).

@eritbh I've just did the second test. When I post the reason as myself, everything works.
