[Feature request]: Share types and data validation between frontend and backend

Description

In an effort to make both frontend and backend work better together and be in sync. We would like to have types and validation for data shared between the two.

Proposed solution

Figure out a way to have a shared folder that can be used by both frontend and backend.

Possible alternative solution: create a third repo alongside (or parallel to) the frontend and backend as a standalone exportable library or dependency module of types, utilities, shared data validation logic.

+PRO: This "could" be an independent library or in-house exportable dependency module not constrained by downtime of either backend or frontend if deployment on either side faults.

-CON: This entire idea is the definition of "over-engineering" and likely time consuming if we only have few sharable logic between backend and frontend. Having a library or a in-house developed dependency module would be overkill.
