How to know if the DNS record was updated?

I would like to determine whether a given run of inadyn updated the DNS record.

Is there a way to do this?

The exit codes are always 0 for successful operations.

As a last resort, I can compare the cache files before and after each run.

But I’m looking for simpler solutions, if one exists.
