why canvas is blank even tho the renderer works as expected?

Not sure if this is a bug or me doing something wrong.
I'm just trying to export a screenshot of the canvas.
Unfortunately it results empty, even tho the render works fine.
Why is that so?

Expected behavior (similar app on react)
