ChunkedEncodingError encountered when pod is brought up

Bug Description

Whenever auto-shutdown holds my request -> brings the pod up -> forwards it, I get

requests.exceptions.ChunkedEncodingError: ('Connection broken: IncompleteRead(3420 bytes read, 8442 more expected)', IncompleteRead(3420 bytes read, 8442 more expected))

Only happens when auto-shutdown is involved
