Platform: Xubuntu Desktop 19.10 amd64

GPU, drivers, and screen setup: NVidia 940MX, nvidia-drivers 435.21

Compton version: git-v0.1_beta2-95-g241bbc5-2018-02-22

Compton configuration: http://my.opendesktop.org/s/SpcapKgySxmHmzG

Steps of reproduction

Open some apps, like Rambox, Q4WINE, Ferdi and WINE apps in general too.

Expected behavior

Normal window behaviour.

Current Behavior & Other details

Those windows are randomly show white frame, without any content, if I minimize and restore, it's working.

It's not happening on Intel GPU.

Interesting behaviour. I'm not shure, what exactly could cause this.

It seems however, you are using my original port to the old compton codebase. Maybe you could try if my port to the maintained picom-fork in feature/dual_kawase fixes this issue. The picom fork of compton is actively maintained and has already fixed some rather strange issues with the old compton.

Edit: If the issue can be reproduced with the "plain" picom as well, it might be better to open a bugreport upstream.

I tried with anothers forks of the Compton and your feature/dual_kawase, same behaviour.

I found the trouble, when i run xfdashboard as daemon, this behaviour ocur, i'm not shure if it's a Compton related or XFDashboard only.
