Chime (2nd Gen) Status light

I am using this project with satisfaction, so thanks.

I wonder if it would be possible to break out the status-light on the Chime (2nd gen)? This way, I could toggle it together with snooze via my home automation and by just looking at the chime, I would know if it is on snooze or not.
