MIT license or GPL3? #190

I was confused by this section in the README:
Additonal Code is Licensed under the following MIT Licence:
However the project overall is licensed as GPL3, from https://github.com/turican0/remc2/blob/development/LICENSE
What is the licensing situation for this project? Is it still GPL3, has it changed to MIT, or is it a mix, and if so how can I tell which parts are which?
