What are rust bindings and why it's used if limbo is written in rust?

I can understand bindings for other languages, but not for rust. Though I didn't look into this in detail

The API of limbo_core is designed for efficiency that every binding builds on. You can use it in your apps if you want, but the Rust bindings provide more idomatic API, similar to Ruslite (but with async support).
