@den-torn We are planning to implement BEGIN CONCURRENT. Don't know if we need the BW-Tree or not, but certainly the Hekaton MVCC is a likely candidate.

Yes, Hekaton is in-memory MVCC index. It is not clear to me what you are asking here -- the approach should be great for an embedded database. In fact, even in SQLite you want your workload to fit the page cache.
