Scope & Context

I would like to see a feature in which you could send a mail to a special twenty email address. E.g. twenty+opportunity-2ddbc32a-1d9c-407f-892f-ec5cb6cf71e5@mycompany.com. The mail (or forwarded mail) will be added as new mail in a new thread inside the object which supports showing mails.

This would be very useful to add extra mails to an existing opportunity, contact or company. Specially for setups in which "Syncing mail" os not possible.

Would you add this email in copy to all your business exchanges? Wouldn’t that be too invasive? Turning into a discussion

This may be a little stale now but I actually like this feature. Trello has a similar functionality where you can click a card > open the three dot context menu > click share, and there will be an email you can use to add comments on the card as your own profile:

I like the feature for adding quick notes or items to the activity feed. My theoretical use case is if I were to receive a client request via email and I am away from my computer, quickly forwarding it to the address unique to the record would attach it as a note or a task which can then be properly dealt with by a team member or by myself when I login next.

Another idea that is somewhat related would be to have a custom data type which serves as a sort of inbox given how email on the platform is linked to the objects themselves rather than having a global inbox. Could have an email address that is associated with a workspace that essentially creates records in a dropbox to deal with and assign at login. Although I think this could be done pretty easily with a workflow as is
