Native integrations

This document is a collection of different apps "required" to integrate with Twenty (some of them are must-have, some of them are requested by users here, in Github discussions, or in Discord server, some of them are added because why not, if users can save some money because Twenty has native integration with x service, that may be a dealbreaker, although probably rare case)

Work on integrations by core team will start in Q3/Q4 '26 (so that users can easily add integrations to Twenty)

Important

• some integrations can be done with applications/plugins as they don't require that much integrity with Twenty (e.g. Whatsapp integration should be done as native integration given the complexity and possible amount of data resulting in massive amount of API requests while FullEnrich can be done as plugin as it's relatively simple)
• native integrations should have a way to be used in workflows, whether by sharing some data stored in system (e.g. connection data for HTTP request or Code node) or having completely separate nodes
• created records should have an info that they were created via native integration (either in Created by field or record's timeline, if record is created via plugin using API, this responsibility is on user to name properly API key passed to plugin)
• integrations should have some kind of logs available to end users so that it'll be possible for them to find a root cause of problem by themselves and either fix or report it

Communication

• Signal - probably hardest on the list, like Telegram, basically roll your own solution requiring developer to reverse engineer Signal app as docs only mention different cryptographic protocols https://signal.org/docs/ (found one Docker container built on top of deprecated patched official Java library, something to start https://github.com/AsamK/signal-cli)
• Apple - default users have their accounts at Apple but there's no integration with Apple? How? • Slack - it's in communication category because Slack is a communication app, integration should be in form of bot triggered by webhook from Twenty, one use case would be reminder of incoming tasks for specific users https://docs.slack.dev/apis/

• Proton - probably niche use case but who knows, problem with implementing this is no official docs as they were shut down (there's archive here https://pastebin.com/LCMFGD1G) and the other way to access them is via Go's library or reverse engineering it https://github.com/emersion/hydroxide
