can’t auto-commit on Termux despite SSH key being in agent

Not sure if this belongs here or to some Termux repo.

errrror: Couldn't get agent socket?
fatal: failed to write commit object chezmoi: git: exit status 128

chezmoi update via SSH works though. Any clues anyone? Help would be much appreciated!

This seems like a git issue, what happens when you do git pull within the chezmoi source dir?

git pull works flawlessly. I'm suspecting Termux's openssh package tbh, as it uses a wrapper script: https://wiki.termux.com/wiki/Remote_Access#Using_the_SSH_client
Oh yeah I should've probably mentioned I'm using my ssh key to sign commits.
Is this even the right place or should I open an issue over at Termux?
