• I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could not be reproduced there

Description

Kick is the only website failing to log in on Ungoogled Chromium.

How to Reproduce?

Attempt to log into a Kick account on https://kick.com.

Actual behaviour

Kick returns its "Unknown Error. Please try again later." error message without logging in to the account.

Expected behaviour

Successful login.

Additional context

Inspect element shows a "429 (too many requests)" error is happening. Logins have been attempted with all browser extensions disabled, account password resets, and switching between username and email on the site's login pop-up prompt. No problems logging in on official Google Chrome and the Kick app. Ungoogled Chromium previously did not have problems until about a week and a half ago. No other sites have had trouble with logging into accounts.

That might be a (mal-)functioning firewall/ddos-protection on their side, which we cannot influence. Have you tried contacting their support?

I reached out to Kick support before, but after reaching out again I was told they are aware some users are having login problems on certain browsers. After looking around it seems Firefox is also having login issues for some users, but there doesn't seem to be an official statement posted on any of Kick's socials. Disabling WebGL worked for someone on a reddit thread, but it did not work for me.

Have you tried changing chrome://flags/#spoof-webgl-info?

Went through all the options of the spoof setting with browser restarts and nothing worked. Inspect element shows the following when attempting to log in:

The first time I reached out I was able to have a human reply for a short email chain of troubleshooting, but the second time and now this third time I received the same automated or copy and pasted reply about them working to resolve certain browsers not being able to log in.
