Student experience page

I would like to have the following student exprience page designed

So that the student experience is better showcased to users.

I've created a demo here using a feature approach - blocked categories with text and links:

I've used the images I could find from the Flickr image library - it would be great to get stronger, more interesting images. Also for the students image, I've just mocked that up. We'd need to get some good images of a few students and link to their profiles.
