another small nit, let's make an issue for it to be done later: this type could be generic over the signature size as well. we could then look into moving this type into somewhere more generic. for now this is fine though

this is a very minor thing, but if we ever find a need to reuse this type, we can consider moving it into a new library (similar to how the state lens client types are split as well for common types).
