Unexpected error while initiating the analysis

I'm facing an error while initiating an analysis.

Reinstalling and restarting Unipept Desktop does not help. I wondered if it's a connection issue but apparently it's not the case.
It would be nice to know if there's any solution to this issue.

Dear Debjyoti,

Thank you for contacting us. This error was caused by some server issues on our side. The faulty server has been restarted, and the problem should be resolved (you will probably have to recreate your project). If this is not the case, please let us know.

PS: We will soon drop support for Unipept Desktop since all of its features have been migrated (or will be very soon) to our web application (at https://unipept.ugent.be).

Dear Pieter,

Thanks for your help. It indeed solved the issue until Jul 5, when the type error was again back (it would be really nice if the issue can be sorted again). Currently, the analysis of peptides runs roughly for an hour and then the error appears.
Running the analysis online would be indeed ideal but I'm not sure how will I export the analysis output since I have a big list of peptides (around 1M), and henceforth the reason behind using Unipept Desktop locally. If there's an option to export the large analysis outputs, it would really fit the purpose.

Hi Debjyoti,

We've had some issues over the weekend again, but now both our servers are fully up and running again, so the issue should be resolved (and hopefully for good now :) ).

If you do decide to use the web app, and 1M would be too much (it might work, but it's at the limit of the web app), I suggest you to split your input into 4 parts, analyse these separately and concatenate the exports again, or to use the Unipept CLI.
