Version 0 Alpha 9 has been released. As 2 May 2022, the branches will represent the versions as follows:

main: Version 0 Alpha 9
dev: Version 0 Alpha 9.1
testing: Version 0 Alpha 9.1
bugfix: Version 0 Alpha 9
security: Version 0 Alpha 8.2

Once the final feature request is either implemented or abandoned, Alpha 9 (whichever version of it that would be considered final) will become Version 1 Feature Complete.
