No DNS resolution from Debian VM on a macOS 15.5 host

Describe the issue
No internet connectivity from Debian VM on a macOS 15.5 host. ping 1.1.1.1 or other well known IP's work, but a simple wget google.com fails at DNS resolution.

• UTM Version: 4.6.5
• macOS Version: 15.5
• Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M4 Pro

After some experimentation, I can confirm that Cisco Secure Client with its Umbrella DNS Proxy "may" be causing the problem.

With the DNS Proxy socket filter active, IP connectivity is broken with Debian systems. However, with Ubuntu systems, everything works.
With the DNS Proxy socket filter deactivated, IP connectivity works fine on all systems.

One could argue that this is a Cisco Secure Client issue. But, seeing that TCP connections are fine on an Ubuntu system makes me think UTM could also be playing a part here perhaps? Or is it Debian that creates packets that are different?

Some more data points.

1. DNS resolution works with Ubuntu because Ubuntu defaults to IPv6 for DNS and that works with Umbrella.
2. However, Debian uses IPv4, and that fails.
