Gradle documentation should mention the difference between the `com.vaadin` and `com.vaadin.flow` plugins

There are two Gradle plugins maintained by the Vaadin team:

• https://plugins.gradle.org/plugin/com.vaadin
• https://plugins.gradle.org/plugin/com.vaadin.flow

What are differences between those, and when should I use one over the other? I can see that com.vaadin.flow also includes beta versions, but does it offer the same functionality as com.vaadin?

com.vaadin is the platform plugin that handles also Hilla stuff.
com.vaadin.flow is the "base" plugin that Hilla extends with its own stuff.
It is meant mostly for internal use, not for end-user applications.
