Since Dec 2023, an Apple developer account includes 24 hours of free compute time on iCloud. Investigate whether this has benefits for the project, especially when it has multiple developers.

Benefits (claimed by Apple):

  • tests run on iCloud
  • simulating multiple devices
  • builds run on iCloud
  • distribution via TestFlight
