[BUG] 'Negative' solar production at 1am

• Amount of micro inverters connected: 12

I included the solar production of the individual inverters in my Energy dashboard.
However, it seems to perform the reset at 1:00, turning my solar production negative.
As a result, skewing the energy charts.
I assume the 1am reset is just a DST issue or something annoying with timezones.
Is this fixable, or should I be using utility meter helpers instead of including these inverter direct sensors.

I have the same issue, the Envoy does not reset the counters at the right time. Probably indeed a DST issue. Let me see if I can think of a way to fix this in the integration, saves the hassle of creating all those utility meters.

In the meantime, using the lifetime sensors of the inverters should work too as home assistant can handle the reset themselves.

Indeed for the Energy dashboard using the lifetime sensors is the best way to go.

I saw the same behavior, but it doesn’t seem to happen each day. This happens since June;

• 19-06 > 15:00 - 16:00 CEST
• 25-06 > 12:00 - 13:00 CEST
• 29-06 > 09:00 - 10:00 CEST
• 1-7 > 08:00 - 09:00 CET:

The inverters are switched off during night time: no communication takes place between the envoy (or gateway) and the inverters while it is is dark. Only when the sun comes up, and some minimum voltage is reached on the dc input, the inverter wakes up and starts communicating again. i.e. independent from at what the time the value got reset, only at sun rise is the first time that reset value wil become available to the envoy/gateway. On a cloudy day it may take longer before the minimum voltage is reached than on a sunny day and thus the time of the spike can differ per day and even per inverter in the same system (depending on the placement of the connected panel).

@Daandamhuis Which sensor are you using for the energy dashboard? It should be the Lifetime Energy Production one.
