How to run on CLI with recent tags?

Hello, I can run:

npx github:viperproject/check-license-header#v1

but no other tags or commit hashes work? What am I missing? I would like to run --strict, but v1 has a fix in #310

That's a very interesting observation and I've not been aware of this yet! I also don't know why npx does not pick up the more recent tags but only v1 as it seems to me that all tags should behave equally. In particular, I double checked that we have not released some of them on npmjs.com and forgot other tags but we have not published this package there.

If you want to run this package locally, one workaround would be to explicitly add it as a dev-dependency. Personally, I don't bother running this package locally and I'm using this package (or rather action) exclusively in CI environments. One such example is our Gobra program verifier.
