Building virtualsat for aarch64 and MacOS

Description

Since I see from the releases that there is no support for MacOS, nor any aarch64 machine (MacOS nor Windows), I was interesting in building the code myself to target those architectures.

Are there reasons that has not been done or just lack of user base? Do you see any technical difficulties in doing so?
Do you have a guide on how the project is structures / how the build system is configured to generate the target output artifacts?
