Standalone ETCD in automation

The automation currently installing etcd in the same server along with postgresql or is it possible to have the automation to be published and installed in different standalone server instead in the same server with postgresql?

Yes it is possible. While using the command line.
In the UI, the ability to choose where to install etcd will appear in the next release (2.5) -> #1322

What function are you interested in?

There are several functions I'm interested in especially in the UI interface. The first one will be the cluster scaling capability in UI #754, adding or removing new nodes within UI is very useful. The second one would be the ability to remove or add DCS from / to existing nodes or adding new DCS nodes to new fresh server installation. Sorry for late reply.

Cluster management functionality (including scaling) via the UI is planned, but its implementation will cost at least $5,000–7,000.
We can’t say yet in which release it will be included — this depends on attracting more sponsors, as we don’t rely on venture capital.

That said, as the project gains popularity, its budget is likely to grow as well — making this feature feasible sooner or later.
