Update and migrate Postgresql DBs(to lastest version) to a new Cluster

I am using:
[Type B] PostgreSQL High-Availability only
Postgresql v12.16
Timescaledb v1.7.5
OS: Ubuntu 20.04

Now I need to migrate dbs to a new cluster with Postgresql / Timescaledb lastest version but my DBs are very big, almost 5Tbs.
With [Type B] PostgreSQL High-Availability only, Postgresql is using Streaming Replication so I can not add a new postgres node that has newer version and "pg_dump" might cost a lot of down time.
Is there anyway to migrate dbs withough "pg_dump".

Hello

If the task is to update Postgres and extensions, then you can do it in place.

Use the pg_upgrade.yml playbook to upgrade the PostgreSQL to a new major version.

Example:

ansible-playbook pg_upgrade.yml -e "pg_old_version=12 pg_new_version=13"

I got a problem while installing Cluster with TimescaleDB on Postgresql 14.
After disable timescale, everything is good to go.

the absence of the timescaledb package means that the playbook does not match the cluster on which it is running. Check the variable files.

The timescaledb package must be present in the list of the postgresql_packages variable, then it will be installed for the new version of Postgres.

I really do not know which part timescaledb package should I modify in postgresql_packages variable.
I tested on different postgresql version but still the same error with timescaledb.
I tried to modify postgresql_packages in "vars/Debian.yml" but no use.
Please help me!
