pulling data with absolute time

Trying to retrieve data via API with absolute time. Is there a way to automate it and without running it manually daily(changing time stamp everyday).
we run multiple reports and consolidate them afterwards, the difference in time stamp creates difficulty in consolidation.
If possible, can someone guide how to generate it from (previous midnight to 11:59pm) daily as oppose to relative time of 1440 minutes.

@prydin , Any update on above ask , I am also facing similar issue where i need fetch realtime data via vrops api for every 5 mins and I am not sending any lookback period but it seems the timeframe coming in json response is not correct
