If you're dealing with multiple build targets you might also need to be able to configure the scripting backend, for example using my Mac i can build IL2CPP for mac and linux builds but windows would need to be mono.
The other thing that touches upon the topic of build is releasing, where after building one might want to push the build to Steam, Itch or other places in an automated manner.
if you feel like these things should be added to your tool, i'm willing to contribute and also start using this tool instead of my custom scripts which are currently providing the things i mention. (only the publishing to Itch thus far though)

Good day, apology for the late replay. I have notice some of the problem too regard the scripting backend, and I think many of the player settings would be nice to be able override and etc.
As for the pushing the build to other sites and etc. I am however not familiar with those APIs. Perhaps those functionalities can site ontop on this library, maybe. But I guess they would be tied to the individual build target.
