Show `information=route_marker` in addition to `information=guidepost`

Currently, the tagged guideposts (information=guidepost) are displayed next to the relation lines. However, the smaller information=route_marker are missing from the view.
They are called "Zwischenwegweiser" in our state and they look like this:

The tagging of these smaller direction signposts / route markers only differs in the value of the information tag. To clarify the differences, a reduced arrow icon on the map could make the distinction.
JOSM uses the following icon distinction:

I would very much appreciate it if these points also appeared on the map next to the routes.

A bit of what for I use https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:information=route_marker - Signs that mostly spell the name of the route I am on. I think the use of those is to make people comfortable, that they are still on track of the walking/hiking route and did not stray, sometimes at crossings to indicate where the route runs, posted in an angle so as to work in both directions. Physically the signs forms a double arrowed guidepost with no target specified, the name of the route, a ref, and an icon e.g.

I have been using the tag for years but only recently began missing a rendering like guideposts in waymarked trails overlay. Reason being, that recently some communes in my area started an effort of making people more aware of their walking trails, by putting up signs, and most of those routes round trips ;)

PS: These route markers certainly make it easier for mappers to follow and map the route from what is on the ground, and not from maps posted near the village green.

PPS: @mcliquid ready to file an issue with Carto? I found route_markers only mentioned in gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto#4247 - Well aware, that such will need demonstration of actual use of said tag in a reproducible manner. But I guess, that applies here much the same, doesn't it?
