Description

In Wazuh previous versions many configurations had to be edited in plain text files which makes it error prone and hard to understand. In Wazuh 5.0 we must standardize the means to edit Wazuh configuration using web form to greatly improve the user experience and make it as intuitive as possible.

Objective:

Functional requirements

  • The user mustn't need to edit any plain text file in any way. Web forms have to be used for this.
  • Use native OpenSearch UI components as much as possible.
  • The form fields must have validation whenever possible.

Tasks

  • Create ruleset web form
  • Create server configuration web form
  • Create groups configuration web form
