VPN access to some site are extremely slow

First of all, I appreciate to your instruction and work done for someone like me to easily build up our own VPN server so we can avoid the firewall of our own f**king GOV.
But now I have some confusion on the limitation of the Amazon EC2 server, I connected to my server normally and could access most website, except some special one, uh..like PH, it's extremely slow and only few text could be displayed, seems like amazon has a black list for those site. I googled but nothing help.
Hope you can show me how to avoid the limitation so I can have a fully access to the Internet.

Can you try creating your server in another region?

I tried in Tokyo and 3 areas in US, they are same, maybe later I shall try some cluster in EU. I'll let you know if it's ok.
