I tried creating a release and then adding it to koyeb but it fails stating this error failed to detect type of application.

Do not build on koyeb. Koyeb doesn't seem to support building from dockerfile.

Use container image generated by github action. It's in package section in the rightside of your repo page.

Fly.io have 26 regions, it needs credit card though.
Northflank has US and EU region, and free account can run 2 containers full time. It also needs credit card.
Koyeb doesn't need credit card, it only has EU region for free account.
