Currently, we don't properly emulate the DVD authentication which means you need a modded kernel ( usually referred to as bios) which does allow you to run copied games.

Here is some more info: http://xboxdevwiki.net/Xbox_Game_Disc

JayFoxRox/xqemu-espes#23 but I'm currently not actively working on it.

This was ripped directly fromhttps://github.com/xqemu/xqemu/issues/26 So big thank to JayFoxRox for the information.
