Thank you for this amazing software! I have a question for the genotype data.
My genotype data is on continuous level, ranging from -10 to 800. After setting the type of genotype data as "double", I put the genotype data in the Numeric.txt file. But I got error when using MVP.Data. Part of the data look like this 👇 Can rMVP work on this kind of genotype data?
If it couldn't, is there any way to modify parameters to allow rMVP to work the continuous genotype data?
For more background information, the genotype data is representing the normalized level of bacterial structure variation. It can represent the different copy numbers of the bacterial structure variation, so it will be on continuous level.
Thank you so much!
Best,
Yue

Dear Yue,
Thank you for using rMVP. Please try to use 'read.big.matrix' function to read your genotype data and directly give it to MVP function. Make sure that the order of individuals in the genotype file should be consistent with the phenotype (or covariates) file.
Best,
Xiaolei
