So how do I go about creating a new custom template?
How does it get installed?
Can you create a create template that can jump start this process?

Needy C++ beginners could use way more templates such as creating different application types
daemons
web applications/services
docker/podman/kubernetes
more comprehensive examples with static analyzers enabled and alternate modes such as small release already configured

Give a mouse a cookie and we'll ask for a glass of milk.
Though this isn't a bad thing. The value of simple but comprehensive examples to learning can be immense.
