No ZSH

Current behavior:

• Although user's shell is zsh, local "connections" use bash
• zsh isn't shown in (and thus not selectable from) the list of shells under Preferences -> System
• All tabs in the started konsole window, regardless of being local or remote, are titled bash

Expected behavior:

• local "connections" should respect the user's shell
• zsh, if installed, should be selectable from the list of shells (and possibly other shells as well)
• Tabs in konsole should better reflect the connection type

Version is 20.3, running on Debian Trixie.

It prefers bash as zsh is much more unstable. So I can look into adding zsh support as the local shell, but that will require some testing.

You can create a new shell environment under the local machine entry that uses zsh and run everything over that.

The tab name issue sounds weird, do you have anything in your .bashrc or similar configured to set titles? And does konsole allow/deny dynamic shell session title changes?

Errh, ZSH is what? I use it exclusively since 15+ years and it's rock solid.

No, it's the default .bashrc as installed into /etc/skel on Debian.

Allow. Works fine in the konsole window I launched manually.

About the instability, this mainly refers to the zsh ecosystem as a whole. In terms of issue reports about the local shell integration failing, 95% of reports I get come from macOS with zsh where people have various extensions installed. WIthout extensions, it's usually fine.
