HOC doesn't calculate metric with an error

When I tried HOC on my local project it shows an error:

C:\Home\Projects\populus>hoc
fatal: bad revision ''--author=''
0    

At the same time https://hitsofcode.com generates badge for https://github.com/akryvtsun/populus correctly
