Cursor ask mode

Hello,

Thanks for this fantastic plugin.

I was wondering, is there an equivalent of Cursor's ask mode (i.e., search tools only and no changes)?

set up your web search tool and use avante Ask.

(e.g. I was able to get it to get me weather or latest version of a package)

I think this is the standard behavior? After setting up search (tavily,etc) and mcp, anything I ask Avante tries to find a solution.

The problem is that all the tools are always implicitly given to the agent, so it's up to the agent to decide whether to only respond (maybe with a web search in the middle) or to edit the files.
