bug: missing x-api-key header for claude sonnett #2921

@sque89

Description

@sque89

Describe the bug

After updating avante, i get the following error when using claude sonnett as the model:

Error: {
  message = "x-api-key header is required",
  type = "authentication_error"
}

It seems the commit 2159c0c introduced this issue, because fixing the version to the commit before does not have this problem.

I hope this is enough information to reproduce. Thanks!

To reproduce

  • update avante to the latest version
  • configure claude/claude-sonnet-4-5 as the model to use
  • run a new ask

Expected behavior

  • asking successfully requests claude API for data
