you can disable link level encryption by using tcp peers ( regardless, the limiting factor (for me) has always been latency, not cpu. |

I'm just curious: is it possible to configure the Yggdrasil router to operate without forced encryption?
I would like this feature for gaming and media streaming, as the current encryption can introduce latency and is also CPU-intensive. It would be beneficial to have alternatives like HTTP/HTTPS for different scenarios.
I don't believe that all traffic needs to be encrypted. Additionally, I find web HTTPS useful because it verifies the destination with a key. However, the Yggdrasil key could potentially be compromised through mining, so I prefer not to have double encryption in this case.
