Skin Builder - Problems with Edit Page Color

The color selector for "Edit Page Color" doesn't display new hex values when you click a new color

If the lightness is at white #ffffff, and you pick another color, you still get white. Is this what you're experiencing? Decrease the the lightness, and you should start seeing other colors. Let me know if this doesn' t do it for you.

I think the point the op is making is that the color picker doesn't always work, likewise entering hex values for colors frequently has no effect.

With relation to what @jconniff was saying, perhaps it would be worth submitting a pull request to make it so the default lightness isn't white instead of having to change it every time you go into the tool. Or at the very least, mention somewhere in the documentation that this must be changed every time you go into the tool.
