Adding variable colours?

Hello,
I've been sitting on my macbook for a while now, and I love MenuMeters! It gives it that much needed tech vibe.

I was wondering as my desktop is all RGB, perhaps it could be nice to have variable colours in the menu? I was thinking maybe a CPU temperature could change colours?(eg. 0-35: blue, 35-50: green, 50+: red) with a nice face inbetween or simply a few ((from:to) -> (colour)) option would be nice. I am pretty sure this could look similar to those programs that come with accessories (like Razer, Logitech etc..).
Originally I was thinking a rainbow wave across cpu usage horizontal bars, but that would probabbly be silly.

I understand if that's dumb idea, but I think it could give a bit of life to the top panel. A bit of personality for sure :).
